Annie joined KDP in 2015 and became a partner in 2021. With over two decades of experience in public accounting, Annie has served a variety of technology, retail, real estate, restaurant, and hospitality clients, ranging from multi-state organizations to start-up ventures. She brings her strong background in accounting to focus primarily on tax preparation and planning for individuals and small to medium businesses.
Annie grew up in Ashland, Oregon and earned an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Chemistry from Southern Oregon University in 2002. She worked as a full charge bookkeeper and accountant for a number of years before returning to SOU to obtain her Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting in 2011 and was certified by the Oregon Board of Accountancy in 2013.
As a tax advisor to her business clients, Annie’s focus is identifying and executing value-creating strategies to meet the needs of her clients. She provides tax consulting and compliance services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Annie serves clients in all phases of the business cycle, including start-up businesses. In serving high net worth entrepreneurs, Annie assists her clients in understanding the tax ramifications of an exit or liquidity event such as a sale or merger, all to maximize after-tax proceeds.
Outside the office, Annie enjoys reading, playing amateur pool, and enjoying all the Rogue Valley has to offer with her family, friends and boxer dogs.
