A native of Boise, Jodi started her entrepreneurial career teaching swimming lessons to hundreds of children in her childhood backyard. This experience grew into a passion for small business and helping others “live the dream.”
Jodi graduated with her B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Idaho in 1984 and furthered her education obtaining a Masters of Taxation from Boise State University as an adult.
An alumni of Deloitte, Jodi has over 35 years of experience in financial accounting and taxation. She is a senior level executive with extensive hands-on experience in management, business leadership and knowledge working with boards of directors, banks, and attorneys. She strives to create systems and processes for businesses that can improve efficiency and profitability. She has an established record of success in Boise, significantly growing enterprise value. She is strong in taxation, budgets, cash forecasts, and financial operations. She currently manages the Boise operations of the firm, encouraging collaboration with her staff to assist clients with the expertise necessary to manage the accounting and tax aspects of their businesses. In most recent years, she has helped many clients be tax-efficient as they plan and then transition into retirement.
Jodi has volunteered her time and expertise to organizations such as the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, The Women’s Business Center, Boise State University’s Small Business Center, Child Care Connections, and Smart Women, Smart Money. She is passionate about financial literacy—teaching real-life financial concepts and skills to young adults and those in need.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, running, tennis and traveling the world. Her adult children (a daughter and son) are her biggest joys.
