Lucia Savage joined KDP as a staff accountant in July 2006 and has since risen through the ranks to her current position as Tax Director With over 20 years of experience in accounting, Lucia has a comprehensive background in business, personal, fiduciary, not-for-profit, and construction taxation. Her diverse range of clients includes both complex corporations and individual wage-earners. Lucia’s expertise in consulting, bookkeeping, tax planning, and attestation engagements provides her clients with the support they need to achieve their goals and succeed.
Lucia is a skilled tax professional who offers expert guidance on tax laws and regulations. With her deep understanding of the tax code and her commitment to staying current with changes to the laws, Lucia is able to provide clients with accurate and effective tax planning advice. She works tirelessly to help her clients minimize their tax liability and ensure compliance with government regulations. Lucia takes advantage of tax credits, deductions, and other available tax benefits to help her clients save money, and she is always ready to advocate for her clients in the event of an audit or other tax-related issues.
Born in Mexico, Lucia emigrated to the Rogue Valley as an infant and was raised here, graduating from Phoenix High School. She graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2002 with two Bachelors of Science degrees: Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Computer Information Science.
Outside of work, Lucia enjoys spending time with her husband (Mike) and children, ATV riding, classic Broncos, cooking and attending music concerts.
