ROBERT W. HAGUE, CPA

Senior Tax Director

Rob is one of the founding partners in the merger that culminated in KDP . Rob has been a partner since 2007, with a focus in tax, accounting and audit services for individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit entities. Rob has more than 30 years of experience in tax and public accounting, providing tax advisory services to individuals and business leaders on estate, fiduciary, gift, business and personal tax planning and compliance matters. He works closely with clients to provide insightful solutions to each unique situation in an increasingly complex tax environment.

A Rogue Valley resident most of his life, Rob graduated from Crater High School, Central Point in 1983. He achieved his college education at Southern Oregon University (formerly Southern Oregon State College) in 1993. Rob did not go to college right from high school. He spent the spring, summer and fall for ten years working as a river guide in Oregon, California, West Virginia, Maryland, and Arizona, spending three of those summers working as a river guide in the Grand Canyon. During this same period of time Rob spent four winters in New Hampshire and Oregon working at ski areas. Rob worked from 1989 to 2005 for tax and accounting firms in the Ashland and Medford area, spending ten years with Dale E. Foster, CPA P.C.

In December 2005, Rob became a CPA for Michael L. Piels CPAs, LLP, and in January 2007, a partner. In 2014, Rob was a key principal in the merger with Kosmatka, Donnelly & Co., LLP that resulted in the creation of KDP . Rob’s accounting and tax experience consists of providing a full-service, personable approach for his clients. Rob has served as Treasurer on the Mt. Ashland Board of Directors and Help Now Advocacy Center.

On a personal note: Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, Ann and their two daughters, Alexa and Milan. Rob’s other interests consist primarily of outdoor activities such as rafting, golf, travel and following the Oregon Duck athletic programs.
