CAREERS

At KDP, we recognize that our Team lies at the heart of our values and accomplishments. Prioritizing the well-being of our people and fostering strong relationships forms the bedrock of our organization. With this ethos in mind, we have deliberately cultivated a culture where the Health & Happiness of our Team takes precedence above all else.

People First. Our “Balance Initiative” includes 4-5 weeks of PTO, 2 additional weeks of Firm shutdown (Weeks of July 4th and December 26th), 40-hour work weeks and 50-hour work week cap during the busy season.

Flexibility.  Humans are not machines. We offer flexible schedules, hybrid, and fully remote work options.

Clear Career Development.  We promote from within!  Our mentoring program keeps you in touch and on-track to achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Camaraderie & Community.  We believe that work can and should be fun.  We actively give back to our community by volunteering, donating to charitable causes, and supporting local events.

The Right Size.  If the Big 4 are too big, and the little independent firm is too small, chances are you’ll thrive in our mid-sized environment.  Here you’re more than just a number and we recognize the value you add to the firm and to our clients.

Great Locations.   We have brand-new offices in our flagship Medford and Boise locations that are modern and comfortable.

Access.  A direct line to our partners at any time. No waiting around for your question to get answered here! We are warm, approachable, and happy to help.

Benefits galore. A competitive salary with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long and short-term disability, and more.

Join Us in OREGON, IDAHO or REMOTELY

We have offices in Medford and Bend, Oregon and Boise, Idaho, with positions open in both locations as well as remote work positions.

Boise, Idaho, has been called the best place for millennials to live in the US. The city of 229,000 people is also one of the fastest-growing in the US, attracting transplants from states like California, Washington, and Oregon with its easy access to the outdoors, comparatively low cost of living, and growing tech.

If you love the outdoors and the arts you’ll love our location in beautiful Southern Oregon. Within a few hours drive we have access to the mountains, ocean, rivers and trails.  We are also close to the Britt Festival, Shakespeare Festival, a multitude of wineries and the historic town of Jacksonville.

Award-Winning Organization

FOR PROFIT AUDIT TEAM

Windi Martin, CPA
Boise Office PIC + FOR PROFIT ASSURANCE LEADER

Windi is looking for some additions to her team.

A little about Windi:  She is an accomplished executive with significant experience navigating complex accounting and financial reporting matters for public and private companies. Prior to joining KDP CPAs LLP in February 2021, Windi was a senior audit partner with Ernst & Young (EY), one of the largest professional services firms in the world.  Windi was EY’s  Assurance leader in the Oregon market where she built an extensive record of assembling and successfully leading engagement teams through demanding engagements with compressed timelines and advised clients on the accounting and reporting for a wide range of transactions, including IPOs, business combinations, asset acquisitions, debt and equity financings, restructurings, and emergence from bankruptcy

As the partner charged with leading KDP’s For Profit assurance practice in the Oregon and Idaho markets, Windi reliably oversees annual audits, reviews, compilations and attestation engagements for client.  Windi and her team’s serve clients  in the technology, retail and consumer products, health sciences, agriculture  and manufacturing sectors.  Additionally, Windi  collaborates with all of  KDP’s service lines, including tax and advisory, to ensure a seamless experience for clients.

Windi’s other professional experience includes her role as the SEC Financial Reporting Manager with Homegrocer.com where she was a key member of a capital-raising team culminating with the March 2000 IPO. In this role, Windi served as a liaison among the public accountants, underwriters, legal counsel, and SEC staff accountants.

Windi was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and attended Central Washington University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  She is a licensed CPA in the States of Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Windi is  member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of the office, Windi enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband and two daughters at their cabin in Central Oregon where they hike, boat and snowmobile.  Additionally, Windi and her husband recently relocated to Boise and are enjoying exploring the Gem State.

Our For Profit Team works with clients to improve their overall financial reporting processes and to help them better understand their business. Members of this team enjoy working directly with clients, gaining experience and knowledge in a variety of industries. System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports are quickly becoming a necessity for building trust and for giving assurance to an organization’s customers (and prospective customers) about the services the organization provides. Windi’s team also enjoys the challenges of SOC II preparation and verification. Our team enjoys our work, but has a very healthy respect for Work/Life Balance. To help achieve and maintain that balance, KDP has developed a “Balance Pledge” that includes:

  • 4-5 weeks of PTO
  • 2 additional weeks of complete firm shutdown (1 week July 4th and 1 week December 26th)
  • 40-hour work week (averaged over the year)
  • 50-hour work week cap during busy season
  • Flexible schedules and remote work options available

Windi has several openings on her team. Please look above for the specific position openings. Windi would love to chat with you to give you a fuller picture of the position. Please contact us at: careers@KDPLLP.com.
